Is this a native app store?
No. Get Sideloaded lists Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Installing adds the app to your home screen through your browser. It does not install native binaries or bypass your device's security.
What does "Installable" mean on a listing?
Our scanner confirmed the app has a valid manifest, app name, start URL, standalone display and 192px + 512px icons — what browsers require to install it. We re-check listed apps twice a day.
Do apps work offline?
Only when the developer added a service worker. Listings marked "Works offline" have one.
Can apps send notifications on iPhone?
Yes, on iOS 16.4 and later — but only after the app has been added to your Home Screen, and only if the developer supports it and you allow it.
Do apps cost money?
All listings are free during launch. Some apps may offer their own subscriptions, handled by the developer.
How do I report an app?
Email hello@getsideload.com with the listing link. We review reports within one business day.
I'm a developer — how do I get listed?
Run the free check on the developer page, fix anything it flags with the prompt it gives you, then submit. Reviews take up to 24 hours.
